Allusions to the self is a collection of pieces that have been made from an improvised process of collaging appropriated imagery. A variety of markers, pastels, and paint were used to layer color and imagery in ways to help express the themes of each piece. From start to finish, each element added to a painting was in reaction to a previous step or to the painting as a whole.
